
To help me keep up with daily challenging work tasks, I ask my boss which book 📖 he's recommend to help on self-improve for productivity and leadership and this is the one to recommend.
His advice? The younger you read it, the better.
Book have 464 pages. I will try to complete section little by little 😁. -- Let's begin this reading.
First part: paradigm and inside-out.
Interlude The author share about success are concepts of 2 types of ethics work in correlate 'Inside-Out'; Character Ethic(Inside) and Personality Ethic(Outside).
Character ethics is something like integrity, humility, courage, justice, patience, modesty.
Personality ethics is something like a function of personality, of public image, of attitudes and behaviors, skills and techniques, that lubricate the processes of human interaction.
"While Personality Ethic can help you succeed in the short term, only the Character Ethic provides the foundation for long-term effectiveness."
Because personality ethic consider as a skill that one can practice or achieve with strategic planning but without the internal foundation such a characters which motivate us to keep holding up the works, One could find his/her burn out or derails from success easily.
The Power of a Paradigm
Paradigm
is the way we "see" the world—not in terms of our visual sense of sight, but in terms of perceiving, understanding, interpreting.
The way things are, or realities, and The way things should be, or values.
Now , What do you see ? an old lady ? or a young lady?

Using above picture to demonstrate clearly that two people can see the same thing, disagree, and yet both be right.
This book try to show us how human interpret everything on personal experience and perceive base on assumption. Depends on how one think(Attitude) is how one act(Behave).
Key learning is to be more aware of how other see things and how can we work on the condition together, the better better outcome to benefit myself and all stakeholders as well.
