Day 1 of Doing It Anyway - Start writing it anyway
Hello, everyone. I’m Ami
I am a Thai living in Melbourne, navigating a life that is often busy, always evolving, and now, another spark of inspiration.
Today marks Day 1
Not the day I "plan" to do it, not the day I "think" about doing it, but the day I am Doing It Anyway.
The Spark: From Bangkok to Midgard
Not long ago, I discovered AI Studio (and other AI code, cowork), and it opened up a world of possibilities I hadn't committed to or embraced before.
Yesterday, March 29th, at the Data AI event at Paragon in Bangkok. Being there was an "ignite" moment for me.
I saw the incredible effort being poured into. I saw a community of people try to push writer and creators pushing boundaries, and it hit me: I want to be a part of this movement.
So, here I am, officially joining the Midgard Writer Community.
No More Excuses: Using AI to Reclaim Time Like many of you, I often feel like the time in my life is "out." Between work, projects, and life in Australia, "busy" was my default excuse for not creating. Let's see how AI changed that.
I’ve decided to use AI not just as a tool, but as a partner to make my life efficient and to bring my ideas to life. AI means there are no more excuses. I am here to write, to share my lens on the world, and to document this journey through blogging and vlogging.
Who is Ami? (The Many Hats I Wear)
If you’re new here, you might wonder what keeps me so busy. My life is a blend of tech, language, and community support:
Full time Tech Sales in Cybersecurity
AROUND AND VIBES THAI IN AUS: This is my space for self-skills and career consulting. I document my life in Melbourne and share practical tips for the Thai community living abroad. instagram.com/aroundandvibes
Mental Well-life Application: A project very close to my heart. Victoria Startspace supported my idea for a mental wellness app, and we are launching soon!
Unicat: My AI consulting project focused on Australian businesses. We bridge the gap between AI technology and UX/UI consulting.
Goodvibes Pasathai Translator: I am a NAATI-certified translator and interpreter. I provide translation services for the Thai and Australian non-profit communities, specifically helping victims of domestic violence in Australia.
Good vibes Thai with AMI: A fun project where I teach Thai to foreigners. It started as fun but has grown surprisingly. I like the quality people I am meeting there, and also the door to good connections.
To reflect on my growth and stay focused on my goals, I'd better just do it anyway
This journey is about being productive, yes, but it’s also about being authentic. I hope this path is kind, I hope it’s fun, and I hope you’ll join me for the ride.
Day 1 is officially in the books. Let’s see what Day 2 brings.
With love and vibes,
Ami
